  • CFL is exciting and NFL is boring. It drives me nuts in the NFL with the 45 second play clock and the small fields. Put in the 20 second play clock and get the players running around the field and making the coaches make FAST decisions. Hell, with 45 seconds you can go through your whole playbook before coming up with a play. Fair catches just slow the game, why bother kicking if the receiving team has the ability to simply refuse to advance the catch or worse yet simply walk away from the ball. Keep the play moving and force the receiving team to play the ball on EVERY kick. The larger field gives players the ability to make more plays.
  • Most of the differences have already been pointed out, but there is one other. Offensive players do not have to be set prior to the snap. Your receivers can line up 10 yards behind the line and rull full speed toward the line as long as the ball is snapped prior to the player crossing the line of scrimmage.
