What is the earliest you begin writing out (if not to yet send) your Holiday Cards?

before I even leave the house ...that way I don't have to waste 'holiday time'....lol.... now you are talking about vacation time I hope... you yanks talk funny ..lol..lol:)

I usually try to write them out within the 1st week or 2 of December, because I have to mail to a couple people overseas...

As soon as I buy them I can't wait and start writing them out, and that is usually sometime in the middle or end of November lol .

One year I actually had them all written and sent by December 1st! Unfortunately, that is the exception instead of the rule. Most of the time, they go in the mail a few days before Christmas. The problem is I cannot just address an envelope. Each one has to be hand decorated. Last year, when my husband was ill, I tried to dispense with the decoration, but couldn't do it. And, that liitle bit of normalcy actually helped me feel better.
