This song is an alternative song from 1993 or '94. I don't recall the title or artist/band name but the vocals are a woman's. I do remember the first line of the song it goes- " In our endeavours we are never seeing eye to eye..." Thanks! Good luck!

That's Aimee Mann. The song is "That's just what you are". It was used as the theme for Beverly Hills 90210, I believe. I never saw the show, but I love Aimee Mann. I think its on her "I'm with Stupid" CD.
