  • If u wanna keep yer piercing I would leave it in & just keep doing what the piercer told u 2 do like keep ice in yer mouth & don't eat anything rough for a couple days. And be careful. It'll heal on it's own, even tho now it prolly feels like it's gonna hurt 4ever.
  • i have the same problem, i got my tounge peirced 5 days ago. and i ripped a bit on the 3rd day.. is it safe to keep it in, and let it heal?
  • depending on how big the rip is, if its bigger than about 2 centmeters then take it out and let it heal when u back to the piercer and tell him to put it back a lil father to prevent ripping
  • You are NOT supposed to take out the piercing, especially when it's newly done, and still in the full healing process.. The rip can be only a few mm or even a cm.. but it may become infected. So it is recommended that you leave the ring in your tongue, because if you were to remove it, the holes were heal over with scar tissue and the infection will stay inside your tongue. You should check back with your piercer for their professional opinion.

  • i ripped mine on the 2nd day i was told it would heal around it
