  • If you call them bedtime stories. I would tell stories the old fashioned way, no book to read, but either life experience or some great event. The best one I told often was How Reggie Jackson hit three home runs in one World Series game off three different pitchers! Sometimes it would be great heroic tales of how US soldiers stormed the beaches on D-day, or other times it was simply a tale about my pet parakeet, Fred, I had and some of his antics. Great tales are often in the delivery, not necessarily the content.
  • no i did to my first one, when i had my other 4 i though i try something new whenever i want to make a point on something i just laid down next to them turn the lights off and make them imagine the story that i was telling. i always use "once upon a time there were a little princess...and i just made my point like if she was having trouble ill make it story so she wont think she was the only one and is so easy for them to relate to their fav. charecter. it always work and still does.
