They discontinue shoe models because the rate of attention from costumers/people today in terms of time is very low. Product can be a star today but obsolete or ugly to costumer eyes tomorrow.
Also many Nike products go discontinued because are stronlgy linked to "Sport Stars"
When contract with Nike is over or this Star decides that FILA or Rebook are better brands (ouch!) then is time to Get a NEW amd "improved" ;) Shoes Model now linked to a different face or season. There are the 2 main reasons.
