When I get annoyed/stressed out at work by coworkers who get easily worked up over the smallest things & are very vocal about it, I find myself covering my ears for long periods of time even after the talking has ceased. Is this normal?

Have you tried headphones? Or an iPod? Don't let the 'crazy' spread to you by even listening to any of it. I had a similar problem on a previous job...always with the negativity and b*tching and complaining and moaning and groaning about EVerything. I bought myself some telephone headphones and would just pretend to be on the phone. It worked for me. -
