Let's see..our red Toyota Truck is named RoseyBelle..I haven't named the computer but it is certainly "someone" to whom I've spoken from time to time...I talk to the tv all the time..well, I talk back to it since it is the conduit through which I listen to the politicos that drive me nuts..so I guess I would say, in specific answer to your specific question "quite often"! :)

Every car or truck I have owned has had a name. The refrigerator has a name. My computer has a name. In fact, if I use something on a daily basis, it will eventually get a name. Each object has its' own little quirks and traits. If it isn't behaving properly, then I use its' name. If it still misbehaves, I use its' name and a few other choice words. It doesn't always work, but it helps to relieve stress.
