Someone tried to sell a PATRICK ROY AUTOGRAPHED HOCKEY CARD WITH COA on eBay for 3.99 and no one would buy it.

It's worth as much as someone else is willing to pay for it. Don't look in a book for supposed values - they are just going to be outdated numbers, and those numbers only work if you can find that magic person who's actually willing to pay that much. Put it on Ebay, where millions of people will find it, and let capitalism go to work.

Not a lot of people may not know this, but go to your local library and check a book about card values.
