Find a historical character, and write a script based a pivotal event in their life. Alexander the Great for instance, stand and deliver a victory speech to your troops after defeating the Persians in 333 BC. Or someone like George Patton addressing his troops after liberating Paris. These kinds of things have dramatic effect, if you can command troops, you can certainly impress the drama teacher.
