Millions of taxpayers move to new addressess each year, and Uncle Sam has no problem keeping track. Simply use your new address when you fill out your tax forms. Because the form also requires your social security number (or in some cases your taxpayer identification number), your identity will be crystal clear. And we don't want Uncle Sam to be confused at tax time.

Don't forget to file a change of address with the U S Postal Service so that any correspondence or checks from state or federal tax agencies can get to you.
