Yes!! Forget Martinsville and go to Indianapolis. It's less than an hour away and there's all kinds of entertainment downtown. I used to live in Mooresville which is halfway between the two.

Martinsville is about 1/2-way between Indianapolis and Bloomington (IU), and about 1/2 hour or so from each.
If you find nothing in Martinsville, I would suggest a field trip to one of them! ;-)

Whilst perusing a map of US states, it has come to my attention that Indiana has some of the silliest names for its small cities, towns and villages. Do you agree, and if not what state would you say that does have some of the silliest names?
