Take off the inspection cover, there is two screws holding it down, and inspect the belt. If the belt has too much deflection (it should be very tight) or if you see any visible cracking of the belt, oil on it, or any other foreign debris on or in the belt case, you need to change it. The contour has plastic idler wheels for the timing belt which can come apart, and leave plastic debris on the belt.
