In a society? In a society, the #1 productivity killer is social/political instablity. It is really rather difficult to get economic productivity going when the government and its rules are always changing and a war is going on in your neighborhood. Lack of motivation, which kind of encompasses alot of other things. If you really enjoy being productive in whatever area you are needing productivity, there should never be any killing of that productivity. However, if you are uninspired about, say, moving toilet brushes from the men's room on the 2nd floor to the 5th floor janitor's closet then obviously the personal correct choice is to answerbag while watching television and porking whatever one prefers and leave the toilet brushes to die of lack of productivity.
