Help answer this question below.
G'day Fyrespryte,
Thank you for your question.
Although Wicca is becoming better known, there are still large elements of secrecy due to fear of persecution. I would try finding books about it and I have attached some sources for your reference.

I can see everyone is telling you what to read and what websites to visit. My suggestion might be just as inane. But I suggest you ask yourself, "Am I interested in learning about Wicca or am I interested in Becoming Wiccan?"
Check out WitchVox.com make a few friends and ask losts of questions. Then buy a book, a simple book that deals more with the principal aspects than the science of magick.
We have a recommended reading list on our Coven website at http://www.silvermooncrow.com or if you just want to ask questions we can be found on Twitter as well by searching SilverMoonCrow.
We are happy to discuss any questions you have in detail, don't worry we won't ask you to join. Unless you live in Utah ^_~.

a good book to start about $10.00 on amazon or a little more at any book store
Wicca: A Guide for the Solitary Practitioner (Includes Author's Book of Shadows) by Scott Cunningham
i would say first learn what you can from this and other books before joining a coven.. that way you are less likely to be led astray
Start right here. Wicca is some witch thing that young chicks think is cool. Some are hot, some not too hot. Theyre not nuts, they just wanna seem different. They dress in black which can be sexy at times, but they wear those long skirts I hate. Over all I give them a B minus.

There are many very good resources, both on the web and in book form for anyone curious about the craft. Scott Cunningham is easy to read and follow, but no one auther has all the answers. The book that started the modern Wicca movement is Witcraft Today, by Gerald B. Gardner and is an interesting read. Spiral Dance, by Starhalk was my first book and I think it should be an early read for any new witch. just remember, unlike many religions there is no definative set of rules when practicing magick. These we live by: Harm none and That which you project will return three fold.
