I can assure you, with ALL confidence, that my son wouldn't allow the thought to even enter his head, let alone have the audacity to ask me...LOL Dissuade?...oh no...dismember is more like it...LOL -Buddy

i'd let him

so long as he wore black!....cool:)

I would buy him two costumes. I would take him out in the ballarina costume first and when his friends laugh at him and he has had enough he can change into Spider Man. If they don't laugh then oh well...I guess I have a ballerina who will someday grow a mustache.
-
I would let him, also this reminds me of a conversation I had yesterday where a son of a friend of mine broke his arm, when they asked him what color cast he wanted (pink or blue) he said PINK!...my friend said PINK? and the doc told her "its ok, if he wants pink it's ok".....lol..... sorry I blab :)

haha, i know this may sound stupid but it's true...i used to watch Sailor Moon, and i asked my mom if i could be Sailor Moon for Halloween. I complained and whined for hours, but in the long run i was glad she didn't let me.

I would try to learn more about male ballerinas and try to find out if there was a way for him to be a ballerina without looking like a girl. I study ballet everyday, and male dancers don't look a thing like the women!
-
I would let him wear the outfit, why not. It would take a lot of courage for him to put on tights and a leotard and go outside (even for Halloween). A good show of courage, if you ask me. I would ask my wife for help with the costume, though.

I would for sure! If he really wanted to dress up like a ballerina why not? Would u let your daughter dress up like spiderman if she wanted to?
-
Of course! If he has the desire and courage to dress up as a ballerina then good for him. I would also consider enrolling him in ballet for real.
