The Gladys Knight version of "Heard It Through The Grapevine" (which, incidentally was the first version of the song to be released), always gets my blood going. This is due, in no small part, to James Jamerson's incredible bass playing. He was a big part of the "Motown Sound" and appeared on hundreds of recordings.
