  • NO! In NH, the DMV uses a magic marker to fill in the expiration date on temp-tags. We also have it in the state's database what the actual expiration date is. If you pulled a car over and ran the plate, it would come back expired if the plate had been altered. ONLY THEN would you have just cause to arrest her for misuse of a paper plate.
  • Ohio Uses Markers. And I'm one of those people that if it really doesn't hurt me, then why should I care? If effects me through nine degrees of seperation, I still don't care.
  • Most States use markers on their temporary plates. It's no big deal. If an officer had to check up on them, it's easy for him to do.
