Could just be your spark plugs are fouled and need replacing is all. I doubt it would start as well as it does if it was that 'timing chain'. When the car is given more gas, it floods the engine from too much of it and not enough spark for combustion. Take this route 1st. Not the expensive one.
you need to replace your timing chain. because if its doing that your tensiner went bad on u. get it replace the whole timing kit which is 280.00
