Female in general, Except for Dylan

Due to the fact that there are so many more males singers in rock & roll, I listen to more male voices. But I have heard some great female voices through the years.
-
I think I'm drawn to female singers more because they are the songs I crank in the car and pretend I can sing along with : )
-
I listen to a pretty good mix, really. I find males generally choose to sing genres of music I like more wher as females tend to head straight for that synth-pop crap that is generally written by a male anyway, but that's a VAST generalization. As a woman who is trying to make it in the music industry, when a female whose stuff I DO like (Grace Slick, The ladies of Fleetwood Mac and Heart, Crissy Hynde, Debbie Harry, etc) comes along, I REALLY pay attention!
-
I tend to listen to Male singers more often. Females have better voices in general and I feel that males need to work harder to achieve a better singing voice.
-
I can listen to Ella Fitzgerald sing anything and everything from now until doomsday and never get tired of hearing her sing! There are dozens of both male and female singers I just love, though..I think probably it would be a tie! :)

I listen to a decent mix of male and female vocalists, but honestly I have a larger variety of music by male vocalists. Especially in recent years, females tend to be more on the pop side of things (bubble gum crap lately) and I go for music that has more edge.
-
I listen to more to females, but its close, probably 52/48

Male. Being a metal head, there are not many female singers in metal bands. But I do like Divinyls and Babes In Toyland. So there you go, at least two female singers there. (Actually 3, at least two of the women in BIT sing/scream.)
-
I tend to like music with female singers because it's easier for me to sing along without sounding stupid.
-

It depends on my mood. However, I love choral music with mixed voices.

I listen to male singers most of the time. Sometimes if I really like the song, then I'll listen to a female sing.

Of course, I listen to both, but I seem more inclined to go with male singers. Weird...never thought about it till now. GOOD Q!
