My female cat loves to put her rear end in the air when I scratch her back. My male cat never did this. Is this something limited to females?

    it's a female act. it comes from her habit of wanting a male.

    Females are more likely to do it. This can be a sexual response. During mating, the male bites the back of her neck so your scratching may be stimulating her a bit.
