I've tried entering a dozen or so PS2 cheat codes for NFS2 I found from different websites, but when I enter them nothing happens. What am I doing wrong?

Is this for Hot Pursuit?? If so, your not doing anything wrong. I've tried to enter cheats as well and they won't work for me either.
