  • Heard about an interesting one from a clerk at Wal-Mart, of all places. She collected old candy wrappers, etc., from the break room. She glued them to an old flannel shirt. Then she blew up a big balloon and sprayed insulation foam over it... when it dried, it looked like microwave popcorn. Cut eye holes, etc, in the head, put a sign on the back of the shirt that said "Snack Attack", and promptly won $100.00 bucks with the costume at a local bar.... bizarre, but hey, it worked!
  • I don't dress up anymore and I have no parties to go to so... But my kids... My kids almost always have kick ass costumes that I make myself based on their favorite anime characters that always win contests. Mario and Luigi was the best, and funniest year though. One is tall and thin and the other is short and stocky... It is hilarious!
  • For a 1979 Halloween party I put on some drywaller stilts wrapped with some fake fur, a bear skin rug, and a baby back pack with my midget friend in it, we both wore some grey skin makeup, and I carried a big painted styrofoam club ... we went as an 8' tall, two headed, hunched-back ogre and won the $500.00 costume prize ... the rest of my friends all went as elves, dwarves, wizards, rangers, and paladins ... we were a Dungeon Quest Crew.
