No it's not collapsing. It's actually booming. Their problem is actually one called "overheating" of the economy. I'm not really qualified to elaborate on the concept, but I'm sure the Chinese economy isn't going to the dogs.

Doesn't look like it from the news that's coming out of there. The world bank is forecasting 6.5% GDP growth and the government is targeting 8%. You should keep an eye on www.chinaeconomicscan.com though, they publish daily updates on the Chinese economy.

No. The Chinese economy keeps growing every year. China has experienced astonishing growth in the last few decades that catapulted the country to become the world's second largest economy.

No, their HFCE is second only to the USA, but their GDP is only 37%. Not great!
