I do not think the crystals have anything to do with your cat pooping on your couch, if the cat litter box isnt cleaned often enough, the cat will go else where, now the smell of his poop is imbedded in your couch and he thinks its okay to poop there.

They have sprays to use in areas where your cat goes to discourage him from doing it again.

Also at Petsmart is a litter called Cat Attract that does what it says..it brings your cat back to the litterbox.


Stress will also do this to a cat.
