  • a wild hair yes it is normal.
  • My aunt has the same problem. Could be a hormone inbalance or something. I don't know what you can do about it but my aunt just keeps plucking them as soon as she can.
  • Unfortunately yes, it is linked to homornal changes as we age and it is also hereditary. It also can get worse. Electrolysis will take care of it permanently.
  • Yes, because women have the male hormone testorone too. But some women have more of it than the others, thus the facial hair.
  • Yes it is very normal. Just keep pluckin'! lol
  • It very normal. You'd be surprised to know the amount of women who has problems with unwanted facial hairs. It stems from a hormonal change or imbalance.
  • I have the same problem. One thing you might do is have your hormone levels tested. Some women suffer from Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). This can cause these black hairs to grow on your face.
  • Unfortunately it is normal, they sprout from all angles, one day there is none the next you find 10 i n one go and your plucking for the rest of your days, just keep plucking it out, dont feel embarrassed about it though it happens to us all
  • Perfectly normal.
  • My Grandmothers was black; mine is pure white. it's very normal.

  • It's normal..
  • Plucking it pulls it out by the root but the root is still there (so to speak) - laser hair removal works well on dark hair so that might be something to consider if you feel self-concious about it.
  • yeah, just keep plucking it when it grows back
  • I am 23 and i have the same problem, but I have several course and/or dark hairs that grow on my chin. I hate it! I spend so much time plucking just every couple days or so. It's nice to know I'm not alone with the problem. Here is my suggestion. Go to MERCOLA.COM and type in Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS)!!!!! This is a MD who says he has an alternative solution which will treat (not just symptons as most other doctors will prescribe meds for) but will treat the actual cause! This syndrome accurately describes me because I also have acne which fluctuates in it's severity. So waxing is not an ideal method for a person with acne which is painful enough.
