well, I've only read "a short story of nearly everything". it was great, though - very humorous and informative:)

The Lost Continent and A Walk In The Woods. Also "The Mother Tongue", which is very funny and interesting, about the English language.

I've read them all and my favourite is 'A Walk In The Woods' closely followed by 'Notes From A Small Island'. If you want a true and funny insight into the UK read the second one above.
