When was the last time you threw a really big party at your home?

June 24th. I host a party for the Summer Solstice (the Saturday nearest it) almost every year.

A couple of weekends ago. My husband doesn't approve of the "girl's night out" thing so I told him to go in his room & stay there because I am bringing the girls over to our house then. He did w/o too much squawking.

I have never thrown a big party in my house, unless you count Easter and Baptisims. Once we finish renovations, I will be ready to have a bash. Until then, I don't want too many people seeing our house.

never really had a "big" party at my house..it's not very big. never really a party, actually. a handful of friends or family I guess would just be a gathering...LOL!

We threw our biggest party at my house about 6 months after we moved in. It was our housewarming party and we had about 20 people here. (We waited until summer to have the party since we moved in December.) That was about 6 years ago. We haven't been able to talk anyone into visiting us since. I swear that it wasn't that bad of a party, honest!

When I first bought my house, I threw a combination Halloween/housewarming party. That's the only really big party I ever threw.

Halloween, 1985 ... only 27 people invited, but somehow 112 showed up ... after a quick quiz at the door, I let in all but 4 ... they were potential troublemakers and could not (or would not) say where or how they got the party info.
