Uninstall mouse/reboot.....mouse is picked up again and auto installed :o)

You've changed mice and still have the same problem??? Are the mouse buttons "flipped" on your computer? Try right clicking and see if that works as a left click. If that's it you can change that setting in the control panel (assuming you are running windows)

Um try and look at your mouse setting on your computer, you can switch between the right and left buttons, maybe it was switched by accident.

If all else fails try plugging your mouse in a different port. sometimes the problem can be a port gone bad - also when you have it unplugged check and see if all the prongs are straight, and none broken off.

firstly make sure your mouse is connected into the right port and connected properly. check ur mouse settings. try different mouses if u still have the problem, go to microsoft.com and search for ur answer.

I now have the same problem. This thread hasn't really 'fixed' the problem. My touchpad left mouse click isn't working. i can install a real mouse, and it works fine, but the left click on the touchpad doesn't work. Anyone want to try again?

I have the same issue but with the touchpad buttons on my Laptop. I've tried the control panel options and no luck, i plugged in an external mouse and it does the same thing. tried new touchpad drivers too. Even run virus, spyware and adaware scans to see if a virus may be causeing it but come up with nothing :( Also my right click buttons dont seems to work at all but i think that may just be worn out.
