Hi there! I was just wondering a few things. I am in the middle of getting a divorce with my husband. He cheated! We are mormons! I am currently living with someone else and was wondering what will come of it when I go back to church?

Can a man who has been a Mormon all of his life and a woman who is a Mormon convert still have a temple marriage if they have had sex, but then chose to be abstinent from that point until marriage?

My husband was sealed in the Mormon church to his ex. He divorced her, and has had his name removed from the registry. We are since married and have a baby. His ex says that OUR baby is automatically sealed to HER per the Mormon Church. Is this true?

You're reading If a man is sealed to more than one wife in his lifetime, will he be married to both in the afterlife?

Forgive me if this sounds ignorant, but isn't this Polygamy? Something I thought the church was clear it did not condone..

The Church no longer condones polygamy in this life. A man may not be married to more than one wife while in mortality, but he may still be sealed to more than one wife for eternity.

Interesting concept. Thanks for clearing that up.
