    School should be shorter and be started earlier. Kids should get in at age three. And all the B.S. should be cut out -- like learning about Shakespeare and his stupid theater and the Neanderthal. A lot of time is wasted teaching useless garbage. Kids should be have a diploma at age 16.

    I think 5 would be ideal.

    Earlier than that, kids could suffer burnout and lose interest in school when they grow older.

    I think should be 6 yrs old. 5 years old had become common for parent to sent kids to school due to the urge for parents to ensure the kids can read and write before they go to year 1 school,

    I read a while back that 6 would be better. However, it seems children who get a head start seem to do very well. I started a few weeks before my 5th birthday.

    I live in Finland, it's 7 here and I think it's the right age.. Most kids actually can already read when they start school.
