Not necessarily the desired outcome, sometimes no matter how much you think you know what you want, God says no. Prayer is successful only if a person recognizes that as soon as they ask for something, they are leaving the outcome in the hands of someone other than themselves. When they do that, they should be prepared to accept that whatever happens and that they are where they are supposed to be for the moment.

I think the mind's intent it what's most important for the desired outcome - how it's achieved is less important. It's what works for that individual that is important.
