  • To make up for my town, where nothing is open after 10, and there is only one grocery store. If you need random things, forget it--you just have to wait to visit family, or scour the town for weeks on end. If you want a tv, be ready to drive at least an hour one way.
  • The Chinese are churning out crap so fast there just has to be some place to dump it.
  • 'Cos lots of people there keep buying things.
  • Because it's harder for the towns folk to escape being turned into pod people that way.
  • Don't know for sure. I do enjoy being able to shop in the late night when I can get what I need most the time & get done quick without a lot of traffic. The part I don't like is that for small rule areas like I live in. By putting these stores in. It has caused a lot of Mom & Pop stores to shut down. For they the Mom & Pop stores could not buy the volume of products to be able to compete with Wal-Marts and stay in operation. What I fear of is that one day there may be no other store other than Wal-Marts. And if & when that day comes they may raise prices to such a level that most will not be able to handle the cost for food etc:...................M.C.S.
  • Because eventually your town is going to need 3 80000 sq ft abandoned buildings... the built a super walmart in my hometown right next to the old building... it sat there for 3 yrs before home depot moved in then lowes built a giant store across the street so now home depot is luck to have five cars in the parking lot so they'll be cloding soon... so there we go nice empty building. That's useless craptastic walmart for ya
