I may get angry sometimes, but I have never, and do not ever intend to hit anyone. of course, my partner is female, but either way, hitting is wrong. If I was ever hit, that would pretty much be the end of things. I'm not violent, nor could I ever tolerate it.

Only in self-defense. And in the past--boy, did I, since the self-defense was necessary. Thank God I'm no longer in a situation where it happens. Edited because I just remembered one time when it wasn't quite *self* defense. I was holding our newborn daughter. He went to hit me, missed, and hit her instead. I set her down, and.... oh boy, mama tiger showed every tooth and claw she had. It was almost funny that he went to work and his boss took one look at him and said, "What happened to YOU?"

I've hit him, but never to actually HURT him. It's more like a "Stop that" or "Ok that's enough." He often gets it when he says things like "oh man that chick's hot. i'd hit that." I think the only reason I would SERIOUSLY hit man, would be if he cheated on me. That would probably be the first thing I'd do.

when i was in my teens i used to hit my boyfriend, myself and the walls...but i'm not 16 anymore so my answer is NO i would not hit my boyfriend...though i have a decade ago. (different boyfriend)

Yes. I flipped my last husband to the floor and slugged him, after he started to 'bully' me. I got tired of his abuse and let him have it.

I've never hit him, with the exception of a 'love tap' when he was being an ass. The only time I could ever see myself hitting him is if he were to hit me (which I can honestly never see happening).

My current boyfriend, no. I love him very much and he doesn't really do too many things that deserve that. I had one boyfriend who would constantly belittle me and hit me too so I hit back. At the end of the day, we would both have bruises except he would think I was playing around or something when I would say stop.

I've hit him before, after he slammed my leg in the back door. It didn't hurt him, though.. I once threw a bottle of glass cleaner at him, after he broke up with me when we were dating.

Yes, we were having an arguement, he slapped me and I slapped him right back, told him that If he ever hit me again i'd shoot him. Found my gun, but not the bullets! hahaha

Yes, he seems to think it's ok to keep on touching me when i really don't want to be touched, so I slap him for him to stop because he usually does not take no for an answer. He acts like a 13year old pervert like all the time he's with me it drives me nuts (he's 21).

No. I have other ways of dealing with anger, and me hitting someone always has the chance of hurting them badly, since I've been training in marital arts for 20 years, and know how to do it right.

Yes..my first ex boyfriend..it took alot of abuse before I finally did it..but when I did..I did it very well..sent him off with the nice men in an ambulance and got the heck outta dodge :)

I would never even think of it with my husband, he's way too big I would need lots of back up. Besides we don't get physical. But my former husband, well lets just say I once went to jail for knocking the crap out of him while he was drunk. It was one of the proudest moments of my life since he beat me regularly. I eventually left him because he was way too violent and I feared my life. Six months later he was in prison for life for homicide. I'm glad I did what I did but even more so that I got far away from him.

I've never hit him, but when I was pregnant, we got into an argument and I threw a cup of hot tea at him! I felt so bad afterwards. Luckily it wasnt hot enough to burn him, just turn his skin a little red.

I wish to God I could say I have never slapped a boyfriend but one time I did. He laughed but I cried. What he did does not matter because NO ONE has the right to strike another in anger. NO ONE. I went against my own beliefs when I slapped him and I cried like a baby the instant I did it. I honestly had no intention of doing it. This may sound silly but it happened before I knew it and that scared me. No thinking.. my arm just swung out. I think I was 20 years old. I will never forget it and I pray I never do such a trashy and violent thing again.

Yes. My sisterinlaw to whom I am presently a slave does hit, rather lashes me with whipl.. I am helpless. I have to bear it because she hold certain things against me and for fear of publlicity I obey her. Whipping me is her hobby. She whips me for entertainment, gets kick out of it; does not mind the pain it gives me as she is not bothered about my miseries.

Most ladies would have thought beating thier man would be crazy. but for me YES i have hit my man. we were dating for 1 year and he slowly started pushing me, calling me names(stupid bitch, slut)and eventually by a year and 3 months was full on slapping, choking and throwing me around. Eventually i got sick of it so much that i decided to take things into my own hands. One night after him and i got into a huge fight and he got outa control, he went to bed mad and made me sleep on the floor. After i heard is snoring i took a frying pan and smashed it over his head as many times as i could until he was out cold. i called my friend and she came and picked me up and i moved in with her until the time being. to this day i have never talked to him and he has never gone to the police about it because im sure he knows i have more against him than he has against me.

No, I've had it happen to me and the pain inside hurts more than outside. I would just call it off if I ever felt that feeling so strong that I couldn't walk away and cool off.

Sadly... when I found out a guy I was dating had cheated on me (I knew for sure) and he denied it to my face, telling me lie after lie, I slapped him in the face. I was much younger but I still think he deserved it. :)

yes, i have. it's something i'm terribly ashamed of, and i feel like i'm the scum of the earth for doing it. i'm in anger management and on medication, currently, and i'll probably need it for the rest of my life. i don't know why he's still with me, but he is. he's quite a bit bigger than me, so he's never fought back, only restrained me when i totally lost it, but i've put a few marks on him. you can go ahead and downrate me, i'm not a good person.

I dunno if you could really qualify it as "hitting" but I have pushed into his chest pretty hard in an effort to get him away from me and stop screaming in my face... One time he jumped on the hood of my car as I was backing out of the driveway and smashed the windsheild with his fist, I floored it backwards and cranked the wheel and he went flying off the car and rolled along the side of the road. Man, that was like 10 years ago...

yes i hit my ex husband but only in self defense,he hurt me that bad the last time, i ended up in intensive care. once i got back home he went to do it again,and i just lost it. i hit, kicked threw things at him. then my brother came and threw him out of my house. have never hit anyone else though.

women can hit men on their upper arm with no problem. it is the one spot that is legal. usually its a punch that can knock a guy to the floor. usually its done to get a guy's attention.

I slapped my ex-boyfriend a couple times when we were in the process of breaking up.I regret it now, because i'm an adult, and domestic violence is nothing to joke about really. To tell the truth, I slapped him because I knew he would never slap me back, but that doesn't make it any better. If I were with a different, less respectful man, he may have turned around and slugged me back!!!!

My wife was playing around and she either accidentally hit me or hit me harder than she intended. It hurt. I said, "Ouch!" She said, "OH- I'm sorry!" :0 I said, "Try to remember that you can't solve all of your problems with your fists." ;)

One time I blacked out and grab my mans hair and started kicking him in the head. when I came to I was too afraid to let go. I guess I really lost it when he tried to drop me off at the welfare office when we found out we were expecting . Needless to say that was a terrible thing to do on both of our ends and we are no longer together. that was the only time I hit my guy. I wouldnt say that I would do it again . I certainly dont think thats OK .

I wrestle my husband the other day because he is such an ass of throwing his shorts on me that hit into my spinal cord that hits on me so hard and hurts me so bad to the point that i punched him twice or thrice on his arm and he was just laughing and I got angry coz he didnt even feel hurt,Until the something bad comin out in my mouth about his ex that his daughter told me about his mom being pushed by his dad on the stairs and i said if your ex just dont respond to it I will,Im going to call a cop and put you in jail if your hurting me again and then the fight lights up and he got angry to me and we have fights and were not talking up until now.Am I wrong of what i did?he deserves it anyway,its not the only one that he did it to me but many times.
