  • Why would it bother me if "a" man was reading a book like that. If it was "my" man I would wonder why he was reading it seeing as he already has one.
  • I'd probably think he was a bit delusional ... it annoys me a bit when anyone thinks they can learn how to pick up a partner by reading a book.
  • pick up ? somewhat be yourself and the person right for you will be the person that you click with. i cant stand when guys give me lines once i hear one im out the door it shows how non authentic you are. i love honesty and i will be honest with someone if they try to feed me lines i also cant stand when someone tries to smooth talk to me. but some people just dont understand women and how to relate to women. for them i feel bad. but if you stay in your grade than there shoudnt be a problem.meaning i know how shallow but its tru and currently active grade a for a's grade b for b's etc.
  • If it does, it wouldn't make any sense. People are always trying to better themselves. I equate getting training to pick up women (which in my experience these books and classes are about being a better person) is the same as taking golf lessons. I've read a few of these and have gone to some real in person classes and they've helped out a lot.
  • If it was the guy I was with Yes. If it was just someone I knew, No. No better or worse than the dating stuff on the internet.
  • If it were my boyfriend, it would bother me enough to ask questions. If it were some acquaintance of mine, I don't think it would bother me any - I would just be one of those awkward situations. Like when you see middle-aged men with books about how to have sex =P
