I've started my own carpetcleaning business. I'm trying to find the best advertizing method. Would it be phone book, direct mail coupons, door hanging, Etc?

Good for you, I hope it goes well :-) Leaflets thru the door seam to work well and is a cheap idea, get your mates to help you deliver them and cover a larger area :-)

Why not do all of those. Place an ad in the phonebook, make up flyer with coupons to put in people mailboxes and to hang on their doors. Also make up business cards to put on builtenboards in stores. Also make a website that people can log onto and print coupons.

Direct mail is a wonderful way to advertise you business. You can target exactly who you would like to mail to. Postcards work extremely well for businesses such as yourself. You can target homeowners with certain income in chosen areas. Or you can mass a mail targeted areas by zip codes and carrier routes. I'd be more than happy to help you out with this! I've been in the direct mail business for 20 years!
