well it depends on the way that he told you. if he said "honey, you've put on a little weight" then he is probably just letting you know so maybe you can do something about it; but if he said "your fat" or something like that then he is not a keeper and just an ass so you should get rid of him

picking on you? If you have actually put on weight
and you are happy with the way you look and don't want
to change, then you may want to leave if he continues
to complain. If you think he has a point, you may want
to consider dieting. If he is just picking on you,
pick on him about something, too, till he backs off.
What!! is that all he said? that isnt even bad. Just say someting slightly hurtful to him and then call a truce.
