A stable and loving environment.
I wanted my dad around & that never happened but other than that I can't think of anything
To Marry my first Sweet Heart & share a wonderful life with one another for ever. Only at age 17 she died in a car crash less than a half a mile in front of me. O'We'll life can be here one day & gone the next. Enjoy it while you can...........M.C.S.
A stable home life with secure and sane family members who i could rely on and just be normal, having the non-material things everyone else had.
It would have been nice to have my Mom around.
Parents that didn't yell and spank me.
... a job, working on Mars ...
A white welsh mountain pony. I bought one as soon as i could :)
A Schwinn Stingray.(I think I was about 11 yo) Had to build my own from parts and pieces I traded for and scrounged at the dump. Probably one of the best lessons I have ever learned. That old bike meant more to me than any new one could have. I see they are making them again.
i wanted one of those little plastic cars that ACTUALLY MOVE when you press the pedal just like a REAL CAR! which sounds spoiled compared to all of these other answers...
Emotionally stable loving parents. Conversely I received an alcoholic father, and an abused physically and psychologically mother incapable of love because of her own issues.
A sister!!!!!
A Mr Frosty. I asked every birthday and Chanukah for YEARS and never got one.
My husband bought me one for my 21st :)
Love! And a jetpack!
i wanted to feel safe and have my dad's approval
love
i wanted my friends near me
a close family
a sober non-hitting/swearing dad
a happy mother
a tickle me elmo
Unconditional acceptance and love. I had all the things I could ask for to compensate for their laziness and selfishness but I would have much preferred the latter...
Love from the people who were supposed to give it to me.
a normal life and my father to never do what he did.
A dog.
But yay for me, I have one now :D
an easy bake oven!
What i always wanted was my dad to be with me for you see he died when I was a little girl but now that im 36 I know that hes in a better place.Sorry for being so serious but you ask.
a pony :(
I have been pretty lucky in the sense that my parenst have always been able to provide me with the things I have needed or wanted. However, now that I am 23 and am a BIG KID i have been asking for Green Bay Packers clothing for a couple years and finally my mom compromised with me and bought me a gift certificate to their pro shop so I can go buy what I want when the 2008 gear comes out.
Like I said I am pretty lucky sometimes it just takes alot of asking and persuasion to get what I want. ;)
Stability! I have lived in THIRTY different places thus far in my 30 something years.
A cowyboy outfit!
To be and feel loved
one of those battery operated cars that i never got
Affection
love and overly expensive electronic equipment which I may have equated to love....
a rabbit
still waiting for that easy bake oven LOL
my own horse
I wanted a lot of things as a kid that I did not receive but I did get everything I needed.
An older brother! :)
I always wanted these, finally got a pair last year lol....not inline skates!

That's easy -- a brontosaurus, of course!
A pony, of course. I thought we could keep one in the back yard in Suburbia. I was a dumb kid. My dad tried to explain it.
A pet but i was never allowed i was a only child and it really would of been good for me to have had a pet,i have 4 cats now lol!!!
And 6 kids!
A brother and/or a sister
This might be lame - but I always wanted a Barbie Doll. My problem as a kid was that I desired, but never asked for things. I thought Barbies were expensive so I never asked my parents for that.
A motorcycle. Funny thing is, my little brother got one, (right after I got my car).
A new dad :(
But I'm okay with it now. My grandfather was a good father figure anyway.
love an affection
A DAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
love and having a parent say "I love you"
I wanted my dad to hug me and tell me that I was good. But he never did. Kids need affirmations from their parents. Especially boys from their dads. I Bible days boys were given a father's blessing. I raised four sons who are good men and fathers today. I held them, hugged them ,kissed them. We all played together often. We need to let go of this macho man thing and love our kids to the max.
Honest Appreciation!

*sigh* Me, too. But after I turned 12, my grandparents saved us (I do have siblings) from that hell-hole.

that is kind of you...it's okay. I am making up for lost love, I mean time...hhahaa.
by Salty Light on November 28th, 2008
I think I might be over it. Yeah, I'm pretty damn sure. Last month, I heard, over the phone, that my mother died at the age of 50. I only felt remorse for the fact that I couldn't feel sad over the loss.
