The "prequel" movie about the original Starship Enterprise's first mission is coming out in 2008. Will you see it? Will the new actors be able to fill the shoes of the cast members from the 60s Star Trek series?

Yes, I will see the movie. I don't think the new actors have even the smallest chance of living up to the original crew of the Enterprise. Those people set the example of how to run the series. They can portray the characters but the essence of the originals can never be matched.

I'm actually looking forward to it -- Zachary Quinto (Sylar from "Heroes") as Mr. Spock and Simon Pegg ("Shaun of the Dead") as Scotty? I think they're going to revitalize an ailing franchise...

I will definitely see it. Hell, I sat through every episode of Enterprise. Man was that a long boring trek to where many Trek series have already been past before. I am, however, a fairly loyal Trek fan, so I will see all that they continue to make, unless they just go way out there and stop making decent storylines.

Yes. The new actors can't fill the shoes of the original cast, but, like those in the Battlestar Galactica reboot, they could make the characters their own.
