Geocaching is the practice of searching for hidden... anything. And hiding some yourself. Check out geocaching.com for more details. You will be provided with coordinants, and your mission is to find the hidden object. When you find it, you can take things, and preferably add things for the next geocacher. You don't win anything except what you find. It's just fun.

Most people use GPS to find the geocaches. People do it juts for fun. They come in all levels of difficulty and all over the world. many are placed to get you to visit beautiful scenery or landmarks.

It's like a treasure hunt using your GPS. You search for it by putting in the coordinates given and find it hidden somewhere, could be rural, urban, wilderness, anywhere, even underwater. You don't win anything. If you find a geocache site, you should fill out the log book or log sheet there with your information, and take what is there if you want, and replace it with a 'prize' of your own, hopefully more valuable than the one you are claiming. Don't leave anything illegal or food related, though. Check it out at the official website: http://www.geocaching.com/

there is no wining its like a treasure hunt you use a gps tracker and you find spots all over the world and the gps isnt as acurate as you think it gives a general area so look everywhere they come in maney diffrent sizes like the size of a controler to a bucket or a hollowed tree anywhere and its really depends on the person who hides it what the difficulty is now when you find one you put an item you made or found or something like that into the box or contaner where ever you find it that isnt stolen or food and put your nickname and such on a log and you trade it every where else in the world
