Sign on the side of your truck, signs in the yards of people who are your clients, fliers in your neighborhood (in mailboxes, on car windows, etc.). Direct mail pieces to area businesses (if you're doing commercial landscaping). Business cards galore -- put them out in any public place and make sure all your friends and neighbors have some to hand out, too!

The best advertisement is yellow pages. Believe it or not, hire someone to hand out flyers at homes. A lot of people don't know where to go and when the advertisement comes to you, its great.

I don't know personally, but I do know that there is a good book out called "Gorilla Marketing" that is supposed to have some really good ways to get a business going.

Get in the yellow pages-internet-newspapers-or put the name of the business in magnetic vinyl sign in the doors of a vehicle-or simple stickers on the back glass.

Jewels Vern It costs a quarter a page to print, but you can't get business cards for less than fifty cents or so. So printed pages are cheaper than cards.
