I once read a quote that said there is nothing more boring than listening to someone describe their dream to you. Is that true?

For a lot of people, yeah. Dreams really only have any meaning or are interesting to the person that had the dream. To everyone else, it's just nonsense.

It may be true for some people, but not for me.

Probably. When someone is thinking about their dream they kinda lose touch with reality since they are looking internally. This could be boring for someone talking to you.

It's just like listening to people describe anything: some descriptions are more vivid and compelling than others. Those who can tell a good dream are still in demand :)

I don't think so. I think one of my law professors had the market cornered on boring. He almost put me asleep and I never fall asleep in class; especially at 10 a.m.

Having recently listened to someone describe a dream they had involving flying sharks and a broadsword made of lime Jello, I've got to say: Not Necessarily.

I think dreams are interesting whether they are mine or not.
