Can i upgrade my laptop running on Windows Xp to Windows Vista? the config is: intel celeron, 1.60 GHz with 248MB of RAM

• Vista requires more CPU power so it would probably run even slower. You might have a lot of programs running in the background that you've installed and forgot about. Virus checkers and SPAM/SPYWARE programs will also slow down you computer. Try uninstalling unused or little used programs and do a checkdisk and a defrag on your hard drives. This should improve speed a little.

• ya i did defvrag and also chked the virus vault, removed some spywares and chked the task manage....neways thanks for the opinion:)

• Yes, speed is an addiction. I build my own PCs so I know. I keep on buying newer parts whenever I feel my system is too slow.
