  • Well, it's effective if by "World Peace" they mean they want to obliterate the human race. That certainly would make for a peaceful world.
  • It's usually just an excuse. What the US Military wants is global military and economic domination.
  • It is not that much of the world believes that, but the ones with the power, and profit by war do it for gain. World peace is not in their plan. Disarming and dismantling the military would be a start towards world peace.
  • It is a matter of situation. Just like in your personal life, if a madman with a gun is kicking in your front door, smiles and a hug won't stop him, but well placed shotgun blast will. Certain situations require violence to be met with greater violence to end them, Or the violence becomes greater and more innocent lives are taken. When evil is trying to do its bidding, sometimes it has to be stopped, which is not a pretty thing, but necessary.
  • fight for peace, fuck for virginity, do it, lose it.
  • sometimes it's the only option, sometimes world peace really means "profits"
  • Some countries just want to bitch over petty bullshit and gather more land and control. Until no one wants to do this, there will not be world peace. I'll be waiting...
  • gosh world peace... why is it that every time this kind of question is posed that Mother Theresa pops into my head. or gandhi. or any lving being that actually attenpted at resolving the world and all its shit WITHOUT using violence... the day is coming when one of those people actually live to see their attempts have been successful :(
  • world peace is really a myth that everyone wants but at the same time knows cant be achieved......... i mean its kinda like yin and yang or light and dark, peace wouldnt survive without chaos/destruction/war
