• What my cousin does is when she is hungry, but does not want to eat is she chews on some gum. So to stop the craving.
  • Are you skipping meals or just cutting portions? If you are skipping meals, please stop immediately because skipping meals damages your metabolism, and making it harder for you to lose weight. As far as dealing with hunger when you are cutting portions, I completely redid my eating schedule. Instead of 3 big meals, I am now eating 5 small meals, which actually helps your metabolism. A good example is my boyfriend's grandmother. She eats like this and not with only healthy food (she eats meat and fatty things too but no fast food!) and she is thin.
  • Drink lots of water. Most of the time when you're hungry, you're actually just thirsty.
  • Punch yourself on the belly several times and then say "who's the boss here", that should do the trick.
