Nope. Too old.
-
Probably not, I believe my age and family status would effect my status making me farther down the line. If my name came up, I would be considered a conscientious objector and probably wind up incarcerated.
-
Too old but would volunteer for "Dad's Army" to do my bit :o)
-
Unless things were really bad and they changed the rules, they pretty much only draft 20-25 year olds. Which makes me too old by about 5 years.
-
Too old to be drafted.
-
Yes I suppose I would.
-
wasn't that a few years ago... world war three...??? No, They wouldn't draft me.
-
By the time they get to geezers like me, the war will already be over.
-
I'm 43 years old with bad knees, however, if something that serious broke out, they'd probably take anyone with a pulse. I suppose it's possible.
-
I have no idea. The rules have not been set. based on the current "selective service" rules and recent changes in recruitment allowances, I am eligable until 44 based on prior service, which means I could be drafted for the next three years. Rules are subject to change, your mileage may vary, presidential veto of congress may alter requirements, this offer void during martial law, flip a coin.

Duplicate answer. please ignore. refresh buggy.
-
So the war is tomorrow but the draft is today? That sounds fishy.
-
I find some way to weasel out.
-
I'd shoot myself in the foot before going to war.
-
As a 38 year old vet, I would probably be recalled before drafted, but in my case I'd probably reenlist by that time. I'd have to shed a few pounds though, but I can still get the job done.
-
I'm too old. My one nephew that could go, I would send him to Canada asap

Depends on a few things.... Who are we fighting? Why are we fighting them? Can I bring weed for morale? Can I bring whiskey for courage? Can I shoot a really big gun from far away out of range of enemies?....??....No???? OH...CAAAANNNADDDAAAAA HOW WE LOVE TO EAT AT DENNNNNYYYSSS!
-
Wouldn't need to. I'm locked, cocked and ready to rock, all over again. But I do enjoy reading all these answers from people who are basically saying they'd do whatever they could to get out of service. (and people wonder why our country is in such disarray). "Ask not what your country can do for you...." is long over, apparently.

At 80 years old I don't think so.
