If you see a really cool question you'd like to answer and it already has several responses but none of those responses have been given points..would you still answer it?

Usually the only time I don't answer a question that I like is if someone has given the exact same answer I would have.

I do, because I am more in to helping people/having a nice conversation then getting points.

About 90% of the time I answer without looking at other responses first. That way my answer is not conditioned by others. I usually check those other answers after that and if I feel they deserve points, I give them.

Yes, and I usually give points to those who already responded.

Sure. Why shouldn't I? I think it is better when the askers show acknowledgement for the answers through giving points, but if they don't, it is their own choice. Maybe they are just waiting for *the* answer to give it points. And my answers could be interesting for other people.
