  • Windows Vista, definitely. XP's r too basic and Macs r too complicated.
  • I use a Mac. The operating system is stable, secure, and easy to use. My next choice would be XP, because it's had most of the bugs hammered out of it, but is still pretty unstable and a bit of a security nightmare. I wouldn't touch Vista with a 10 foot pole.
  • I use only XP Media Center Edition, Vista still has too many problems, it also makes the computer very slow.
  • Vista is just dandy, but XP is just as good.
  • I like Mac. Windows is just too... bleh.
  • I rather have XP. I have Vista and the only thing I like more is the search engine in the start menu so I don't have to look for the programs I want.
  • XP.. Vista is still a bit wacky for me. :) and it doesn't help that I'm a computer dummy

Windows Vista has frustrated plenty of people with computer expertise, including Microsoft executives!
  • I'm trying Vista basic. Seems pretty stable and looks good. I don't notice any slowdown on the laptop. I don't think I'll be springing for Ultimate though, I could just go back to XP Pro...
  • I have a vast preference for Linux first, then Mac second, then MS-Windows XP-Pro or the XP-Nemisis Media Center ... and Vista an absolute last ...
  • i have not really used linux o i cannot comment much abt it, Vista was a little unorganised specially after getting onself well verse with XP , 98 and 200 fall sort of few feat so in the end XP remains the best..
  • I have to say the new i-mac is a fantastic set up, monitor, keyboard, mouse that's it, fully integrated pc & the years of fun you could have with all the editing/effects suites are amazing, fully designed for multi-media, music, photography etc & so forth:)
  • Well I prefer XP and scince the Vista has such a cool skin, toolbars, and seach items I have that on my XP by downloading Vista transformation (7.0 is the best: better than 8.0 or 8.0.1).
  • I dual boot between Vista and linux.
  • Vista was a disaster for a lot of people. Personally, my own installation was worse than most. Have not spent a lot of money with MS since then. Refurbished MacBook been running great for four years, will be supported for several more years. Four upgrades, all free.
  • Windows XP and Mac are my favourite..
  • Windows 98 SE.
  • I hated Vista, loved XP. I was weaned on Windows, so I've NEVER owned a Mac. My brother was weaned o a Mac & you can't get him to touch Windows. So, like so much with computers, it's personal opinion!!! FYI, I've also enjoyed Win10 & 11.
  • I have a MacBook Air laptop and itโ€™s excellent stuff. I think Mac laptops are one of the most advanced computers.
  • I loved Vista. I loved the way it crashed and broke down without warning. I loved having to pay the repair bills too. I really admired its architecture, never being able to rely on it. It was poorly designed operating system. Its a wonder how Bill Gates became the richest man in the world releasing crap like this on the public. Signed, Gomez Addams.๐Ÿ˜ˆ
