My MS Office- Powerpoint shows default unit as "Inches". How do I change it to "centimeters" or "Millimeters"?

Go into Microsoft Office Help and type in 'metric' (no quotes. Then hit 'search'. The very first item that should appear is the article 'change the ruler units from inches to centimetres'. Go to the article and follow the instructions. Incidentally, you'll be changing the Windows regional settings, not something in Office.
