Because, it makes your ass look like a peach. So, when you trip and twist your ankle, there will be plenty of guys willing to help you up. Why wouldn't you want that?

You got it- vanity. The same reason they wear hiny floss and bras that make their boobs sit up like shelves. You don't see men doing any of that stuff, do you? They're cozy in their briefs or they wear boxer shorts that let things swing!!

It's all about the pay-off. High heels, in most people's views, look better than flat shoes. they have a more pleasing shape, they make calves look more toned, feet smaller and are generally more flattering and pretty to look at. Some people will choose one way of looking at it: it's worth looking a little less attractive if I can be comfortable. And others choose the opposite: It's worth being a little uncomfortable if I can look hot. Most of us go for a mixture of both options depending on the situation. If I'm going to a party where I want to look my best, I'm willing to put up with a little discomfort. If I'm out walking in the Peak District, I really don't care much what I look like as long as it's easy to walk. It's about priorities. Comfort isn't everything any more than looks are - if you choose comfort over looks you are also making a sacrifice - just a different one.
